New Mexico's architecture tends to favor the traditional adobe for is ability to moderate temperature extremes, with some interesting modern variations. Here's a couple of the local favorites, side-by-side.
That place looks abit precarious sat there on that hill. One foot out of place when you step out doors, and you could be at the bottom of the hill before you know it!!! Just saying to her in doors your going for a stroll, and end up with a quick downhill roll!!! lol Great capture and has definately got my mind working over time!!!

WOW, that´s a fantastic place to build a house! I wonder how they managed it? The view must be something else, but there are a couple of queations about practical things, like water and electricity..? Great capture!
Gosh the comments here are as good as your photo Don!! I had a few good laughs this morning, and I sure needed those. I just cannot imagine living in one of these...I'd wonder how in the world they can climb that far each day? up and down? Bit i imagine there is a driveway somewhere..I'm a bit edgey about living like this, maybe where its dry, but here in ORegon, there are tons of homes built into the sides of hills, and I wonder when the rains will literally wash them down. I DO like seeing this photo of the area tho. YOu say its made of Adobe? Well, at least its cool/hot, when needed. Thank yu for sharing this photo, I like studying it a lot...gives me something to think about 'not' living in...V
