The Cattle Drive in downtown Dallas.

Each sculpture was created by Robert Summers of Glen Rose, Texas. The sculptures are believed to be the largest bronze sculptures of their type in the world.

Pioneer Plaza, the largest public open space in the central Dallas business district, is second only to Dealey Plaza as the most-visited landmark in downtown Dallas.

Funny how we make representations of the things we miss and can't have anymore. They did a really nice job with the planning of this. Thanks, Don for showing this to us. It's really neat.

Each animal is quite different from the others! The artist has managed to show the typical head movements. Very nice capture.

Big brother's watching you :o) A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... Welcome to the last resort. :o)

I expect that this is the best "civilized" cow herd I've ever seen. It's hard to think that the real thing was here once in such a large metropolitan area.

Nicely shot, and it looks like we've spotted them from the ridge!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

I love to see unusual scupltures like this. We here in England have a town that has pretend cattle in the fields around it! I suppose it saves milking them each day! lol Well that is Britain for you!!! Great capture Don and very nice to see!
