A lone white Pelican gets in a mid-morning swim.. This is Pyramid lake north of Fernley, Nevada..The Truckee river flows out of Lake Tahoe and feeds into this lake traveling some 70+ miles through two states. Beyond those mountains and about 30 miles north (left) is the Black Rock Desert. Site of the annual event "Burning Man"..Thanks for your views and comments...=D

I do love your mountains scapes Bill...The scenery's gorgeous, as are the colours and the glasssy surface of the water. The pelican's swimming gives this image all its mood. Fantastic capture. :)
