Ok I couldn't decide which was more photogenic "April" the beagle or the Bluebonnets. Your opinions are welcome. I bet the dog wins.

The flowers are lovely, but Iike the beagle. I have loved beagles since I was a kid on the farm. She is a beauty.

The beagle - with the way she cocked her head - is too cute! However, being a native Texan, I gotta go with the bluebonnets. They were pretty sparse this year, so kudos to you for finding a nice patch!

I sense a TNI ;) Beautiful dog and a really nice setting as well. Only thing is the blue bonnets seem out of focus and mation blurred, but it's understandable (just trying to throw in something that might be useful ^.^)

Beautiful composition and expression you captured of a fine friend. There is a dark side...not to the pooch likely but in the image. The eyes could be slightly lightened with the dodge tool in Photoshop. My eye went straight to April, Don:-)

heheh, i love that look in her eyes.. i'm glad you posted a picture of april in april :D i love the background flowers, bluebonnets, you say? if only they weren't blurry, i would give this image 20 out of 10... this leaves it with 19/10 :D heh, just kidding, i love this one, it goes into my favourites for sure! i love her appearance :)

Yesssssssssss the doggie wins! He is soooooooooo sweet looking. I always wanted a beagle..but ended up with years of pretty cats..now I have none..but soon I want to get some..so I might just do the beagle thing. He is darling!! the flowers are a pretty touch for the loving photo of the doggie!!

I'd have to go with the beagle. The look on her face is perfect. Perfect pose. If April could speak, she would definitely be saying, "I'm cute and you know it." Great photo.
