On Saturday night my wife and I went for a ride on the motorcycle. As we were crossing Lake Joe Pool the moon was rising. I went back out on Sunday night and snapped a few shots. This is one that I combined a shot of the reflection and one of the moon. I don't have a split ND filter and the exposure was to different to get them both in one shot. Nikon D70 70-200 F2 Nikkor 2x converter. Let me know what you think!

This is truly an amazing image. The details on the moon's surface is very good, and really takes some doing. The combination of the two images is perfectly done and puts it in a totally other league than just "Good". Well done.

Amazing shot..I got some good shots of this months moon, except the sky around it was grainy...now if I could just figure out how to change that..it would still be a great pic...well I gotta learn PSP and Photoshop I guess...But I sure love the clarity of your moonshot.!!

I see I am not the only one who likes this. What a moon. I have tackled the ole moon myself and I know it is a booger to get. This is the best I have seen. Beautiful. I certainly am happy you chose to share it.
