I went to Traders Village where they have a Indian Festival every year. I took some photos of the dance contests. As I sort through them I'll be posting my non-mistakes.
This boy was about 8 years old and very good!
Wow, you caught so much energy and movement in this photo. Kudos. I think people are the hardest subject, and you made a fantastic image here. It's perfect, IMHO especially in framing the composition and with great colors and lighting too. Everything I look for in a good image you have got here.
Wow....what can I say...this is just TOP
razorsharp and at the same time the energy of the movement.
there is nothing left to want in this shot...THIS IS JUST GREAT
What a sharp image of someone that was really moving around. It couldn't have been easy to pull that off. Really nice job getting a sharp and colorfull image :-)
Very good photo, Don! I voted on one of your other heritage images in the random voting and had to come looking to see more. As mentioned before, an excellent capture of the energy.
Looks awesome. One thing that i might suggest is it would be nice to see the face alittle bit. Probably just the side as that would give some style. Other then that small detail it looks really awesome. I love the motion in htere.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of falling cat? Does it hover above the ground in perpetual indecision?"
Such magnificient bead work...I like how you got only a part of his face, but out of curiosity I would love to see more of that 8 year old boy....I bet he had quite the concentration. I love the colours of what he wears...and you got him in motion, and yet he is not blurry and the background is, so thats perfect. This is sooo good!!
