Image captured 7 January at the Carrizo Badlands overlook in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park (California). The large/tall plant on the left side of the image is an Ocotillo - and it has some really nasty spines, of which I was reminded of when I backed into it while capturing one of the earlier images.

A well done capture my friend. Another picture at a later time would look nice as well I think. Catching the colors of that barren wilderness and the skyline as it changes colors.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
Nice shot. I like the half way split that the horizon creates giving a balanced contrast. I can almost feel the cooling of the air.

Very evocative. We lived in San Diego for some time and visited the park many times. I am looking forward to more pictures from there in the spring time when the presently barren looking landscape will be ablaze with blossoms.
