Now that the word is out about mt feeders I am getting lots of guest for dinner . This little sparrow is one of many and he looked so good I thought I would share his image with everyone Hope you guys like him as much as I do.

Now that's a beautiful shot of a sparrow! One of the prettiest ones I've ever seen. I usually think of them as more of a nuisance bird since they're so numerous around here, but your little bird against that nice green grass looks real good. Looks like his wing may nave been fluttering just a tad as you snapped this; a little motion blur there, but it doesnt take much away from the overall beauty at all. Nicely done!

the catchlight in his eye is great
is a little too square on for my liking and id be tempted to crop off the right and the bottom to move mr birdie back
the flash is a bit strong and has flattened out any modelling in the background youd have to work at trying to restore that somehow
hope you dont mind my mentioning how in my HUMBLE opinion it might be improved

This is a delightful photo, Don - great clarity on the birds' eye. It's not easy to get a good shot of these busy little ones but you did! "If you build it, they will come!" I'm really enjoying your bird photos!
