This looks very cold Chris. Was it? I love the way the snow covered mountains form the the edge of the water in the background. Quite dramatic. The water looks so very blue and the rocks in the front give the viewer a perspective. I am going to save this image on my hard drive. I have never been to Alaska , but it is on my "to do" list!! lol

I really like how you have the slanted going with the horizontal lines...and then they meet so perfectly. The mountains are the focal point of course, I mean my eye was led right to them...I also think the shadows at the base of the mountains are very very lovely. It gives such depth to the whole photo. I hear all the time how beautiful Alaska is. I want to take a cruiseship up there some day. Its a very pretty picture...thank you so much...verena

Terrific enchanting view.Pretty enough to be a postcard.The mountains are unbeliveably beautiful. Pleasing shadow play on the mountains. The rocks in the foreground give more texture to the image.But basically, I plain like this!
