This is a revised version of an earlier submission. It has been tweaked according to some excellent tips I was given by a fellow member. The stairs were interesting to behold but I went to the upper town on the funicular.

The colors are great, the details are nice, and I like those stairs leading up to that French building, and those buildings in the background too - they look really good.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I like this, Edwin. Lots of visual interest, good composition... Buildings in far background really contribute to perspective and dof, imho.

i like the colors here, and the stairs are visually interesting. i checked out the other older version and this indeed looks better. nice shot.

I think it is interesting that I got a comment request for this picture. The reason for this being that I took a picture of this same staircase. If you would like to see it, it is in my photo gallery and is titled "Confused?" I enjoy this angle for it as well it gives a different perspective for sure. thanks for sharing and feel free to take a look at my take on it.
