This was a quick shot taken in Seattle showing the simple way to return from the waterfront. It was late afternoon and since only one lamppost was illuminated I hurried to capture the scene before the rest came on. I thought it would add interest to the photo. Then I continued my way toward the left where I found an elevator to take me up. We didn't invent elevators for nothing, did we?
Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope all is well. I like the colors and the sense of motion in your posting. There's some good light and dark contrast here, but I detect some motion blur. That's not surprising after reading your narrative. Wouldn't it be nice if they sold a lightweight folding tripod that would fit in your back pocket for low light shots like this? But they don't which is why many of my sunrise photos have motion blur. I wonder why just the one light turned on.
