Texting while driving is unsafe and I don't do it, and photography while driving isn't much better so I usually don't do that either. But this monster cloud ahead moving its downpour over the highway was irresistible. The motion caused a little blurring near the edges but in general I was happy to get this souvenir. When we got into the rain it was coming down like Niagara Falls. Okay, *almost* like Niagara Falls.

That is one killer sky, Edwin. I'm wondering why you didn't pull over, run into the adjacent field with your tripod and take 1000 shots with a different foreground. Of course, that doesn't diminish the power of these clouds, but you could have got killed before you had a chance to post your shot.
I like the view of the rain pouring out of the clouds. The dark underside of the clouds shows some excellent light contrast. Get rid of the highway, the highway signs and that car in front of you and this would be a 10. Man oh man, I love when Mother Nature puts on a show like this.
