Strolling the beach around 6:00 p.m. many birds were flocking over the waters, diving for food, sandpipers were darting back and forth on the beach in synchronized groups, and then there was this fellow, all alone, also seeking his supper. I felt sort of sorry for the solitary creature and thought the least I could do was give him some company in the Caedes gallery of bird photos.

Question #1: Ed, if you wanted to "give him some company in the Caedes gallery of bird photos", why is the category called photography->balloons?
Question #2: There is no question #2, but I liked question #1 so much that I decided to create a new paragraph.
Very good capture of the bird just moments before the wave crushed him and washed his lifeless body onto the shore. Good composition, and I like the jet of water shooting out of the wave at the top of the screen. Obviously Florida has inspired you because this feels like an exceptional shot. A well deserved 7 or more in the VB.

Yes, Dot, it sure is strange that the category reads 'balloons.' It sure looked like 'birds' when I entered it. Maybe the management at Caedes knows something about this bird's constitution I don't know.

The incoming wave as great light and colour as does the bird,and the light in this shot is beautiful looking.Love the freeze on the waves it gives the shot great detail and the feeling of life.A all-round very nice photo my friend.
