I found this colorful specimen of vehicular engineering on the beach one morning. I thought the sight of it against the ocean might make for a modestly heraldic color scheme. I asked it to smile for the camera but the best it could do was a clenched grille. I think it was a hot enough day to fry an egg on its hood but I lacked the wherewithal to confirm that.

First of all, Ed, I envy you for having vacationed in such a beautiful place. The white sands look simply spectacular against the blue background of the ocean and the sky. When I was a kid growing up in the Midwest, we used to vacation in Florida at places like Jacksonville Beach and Daytona Beach. I remember that they allowed vehicles on the beach in Daytona. I also recall that the beaches sloped ever so gently towards the water. I'm still waiting for a post of you surfing.

It's cold and raining here right now; so this is a very pleasing shot. I'm not sure that the dark upholstery was a good choice for cruising in the Florida sun. Except for a little noise in the sky, I think you nailed this shot.

Dorothy

P.S. I think "heraldic" is a $5 word too. Do you take American Express?

You guys have to stop meeting like this. Neither one of you noticed the Left sloping horizon on a wall to wall ocean shot.
Other than that, it's nicely balanced and composed.
