I'm calling this version 2 because I've cropped the image a bit compared to the original posting. The purpose is to simplify it somewhat. I've also tried to make the statue of King Edward VII stand out more by de-focusing the background. I think this may draw more immediate attention to the bumptious bird perched at an altitude of about thirty-five feet and demonstrating little regard for historic royalty.

Great job on this re-edit, Ed. The building was rather imposing in the original shot. By blurring it the building doesn't dominate the shot. I guess I'm basically agreeing with your narrative. Really fine detail work of his royal highness in this particular presentation. In version #3 I expect to see the reflection in the bird's eye.

This one is a lot better then the first post, it as a better look to it more level and squired off very nicely. It is as if you posted a new photo,great example what cropping can achieve,well done.
