I'm somewhat self-conscious, so posting this is kind of difficult for me, but I haven't uploaded anything in so long. I love taking self-portraits, which sounds vain, but I don't photograph well normally and I just want so much to appear on camera the way I view myself. I usually take dozens of them before I get one that looks okay. This is one of the more artistic ones I've taken in a while. I don't actually expect anyone to download it, but I've wanted to upload one for so long. So, here I am.

Nice pic and enjoy it while you may...Father Time is jealous of all of us who are young and doesn't waste a lot of strokes laying our youth out to dry. Boy, that was depressing..lol...Very pretty presentation of yourself. You should take lots of them. You have nothing to be ashamed of or shy about and your skills at portraits may stand you in good stead in the future...

You do take a good self-portrait. Very classy! The black and white works well with this type work. You should take all the photos you want, as you look great! Good work Erin :))

You have nothing to be self conscious about.

This is a very well done shot. The angle is good, the focus is clear, and the composition is well thought out. The brights are a little bright, but over all, that doesn't detract from the picture much. The choice of poses was good, and has a very artistic feel. Don't worry about a thing. Anyone who complains about your looks needs to get his head examined as much as his eyes. Good pic!

Nice shot Erin, It is slightly washed out a little around the center but that can easily be fixed.
Next time try an orange filter in front of the lens when taken a self potrait B&W photo. It is excellent for skin tones. Let me know how you get on.
