The other day I fell of the face of the earth... they have nice pizza there...
I was asked to give a comment on this photo. Not only I'm an amateur, I have a poor taste for abstract kind of work. Above all, I really have no clue how you took this picture! With all these major shortcomings, I'll give you my brief comment below.
The immediate thing I saw was, indeed, an an inner ball -something like a bowling ball. When you look closer, though, it's obviously made up out of some simple lines of light!! I really don't know how you captured it but it is really nice and eye-catching! The colours, the black background, the shining of light bands, the inherent motion in the pic, the mysticism (!) around how the pic was shot (computer-generated vs. actual shot), and above all, the "inner ball" effect itself are all appealing to me. I liked this pic very much. I'd give it three green lights. Well done!
