Wonderful detail in the parts that aren't moving and terrific motion blur in the parts that are. A really great job on this.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Nelly Furtado's "I'm Like A Bird" comes to mind when I see this, Gregg. He's all there, all by himself in the shot as you captured him. Nicely done.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I can only imagine what it took to capture this birdie. I saw some of these flying around my neighbors yard yesterday and they have to be very difficult to capture.
