I forgot to get the name of this nice looking Owl, I am sure Hottrockin will know since he has been to the World bird sanctuary many times where I took this photo. More to come....

It's a blue beaked, swivel headed empty barn owl. Great post. First the eagle and now the owl. I'm starting to feel Proud and Wise. Another excellent portrait. You're really good and the birds are getting much larger. Keep it up Gregg.

It's called a "Handsome Dude"! lol! he is quite beautiful. These birds seem to show no marks on their beaks from being in captivity! Love the intent stare - super capture Greg!

Looks like a 'Great Horned Owl' mate! or similar! ..

An amazing capture...so clear, that you can see your reflection in it's eyes!

Great close up of this guy Gregg. Those white dots reflected in his eye are a little distracting ... removing them might be a good idea. Just a thought. Then again ... WHO ... I repeat ... WHO ... am I to argue with the "birdmeister" ? :)

Such a nice owl, and a great photo too Gregg
Such a shame no one can positively ID it yet, no bird should remain nameless.

A wonderful capture of one of nature's most incredible creations. This is probably a Milky Eagle Owl. Their sight, hearing, and tremendous strength make them an almost perfect predator. Thank you very much for sharing.
