Saw this Deer walking on the side of the road, got out of my car and followed her into the woods and took this photo from about 40 feet away. She was not afraid of me at all.
Looks like a youngin'. Nice photo and even in these close quarters you can see how well they blend. Snow is not a friend of the deer. They show up like beacons. Good shot and lucky to have your camera.

Hmmmm....first Deer photo and she's smellin her own butt...I'm just yankin ya bud it's really nice. Super clarity. Here's a wildlife tip that I use to get them to look at me (instead of their butt). I have headlights on my hat...a Deer sees me and just stands there and stares. Then I reveal that eye and they drop dead...then I not only have a photo but meat for the winter as well.

An interesting capture. I had the chance to follow a buck around taking photos once. It's an amazing feeling to be that close to a wild animal. Good job.
