This Eastern blue bird stopped by again tonight to say hello, never eats from my feeder, just lands, and sits for awhile. Taken in low light, but I thought it was still worth sharing..The nesting box is about 30 yards away from my deck.

It was definitely worth the effort Gregg. Makes me think of Song of the South. Good photo.

You my Caedes friends post the most wonderful images out here. Full of beauty, life and gorgeous colors. For that, you have my heartfelt 'thanks'. I love 'browsing them' and wish there was more time to personally comment on every one of them.

Try mealworms! My bluebirds now sit near the feeder twice a day just waiting for me to deliver the goods! They are crazy for them! I hope to get some nice shots soon, too. I really like the lighting in this.

~ I agree with Kat Gregg...just buy some meal worms at your local pet shop and you'll have him there every day according to the bird mag I read, lol. Unfortunately blue birds are not where I am in FL, but I can enjoy them in print & photos like yours!

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?
