A Green Backed Heron ready to grab a snack. I spotted this bird at a small lake at a Hospital where I work.

i've never seen a green heron so beautiful. your rendition is better than in most magazines.

When is saw the title I started scanning the water for fish. and sure enough... that looks like a fish to me in the upper right corner. Great capture. Keep up the amazing work.

Fantastic shot. I have seen this bird for real only once, but it was standing in a shadowy place a bit far from me, so there was no chace for me to take a photo of it. So, it is a most valuable pic for me. Thanks for sharing.
