Beautiful bird and great shot. I saw a gorgeous bright blue bird on a nature walk and had never seen one before. I think this might be the same. He matches the blue on the feeder perfectly. :) sandi ♪ ♫

I have no idea what kind of bird it is. I thought you needed a name for your photo...in which case I would have suggested "Blue on Blue". :) Great photo.

~ Great capture!...ever since I saw an indigo bunting in a bird book when I was very young, I wanted to see one but never did. I guess that's why I always buy blue feathered budgies, lol. Thanks for sharing Gregg!

What a neat capture of the Indigo Bunting bird you have here Gregg. I see these all the time when I am in Pere Marquette State Park. They fly right in front of the car! The feathers are such a brilliant blue. You are fortunate to have them coming to your feeders. I don't think the female is as blue, but more brown. I will have to check my bird book!
Thanks for sharing your awesome 'find' with us!!
