I was not going to post this, but it has a strange effect, this was shot through glass at the Zoo of course, the expression on his face kind of amazed me. What are your thoughts?

Great close up and the look on his/her face is priceless. Great clarity even through a glass window.

Are you asking the gorilla or us about the thoughts? Oh, it must be us. I think it is a great photo and it looks like someone I know getting ready to fall asleep in the recliner. Just a nice photo Gregg.

Sometimes when I go to the zoo I feel as though they are analyzing we humans not knowing what to make of us don't you?. It has a kind of sad look on its face to me but I have to say I would have never known this was taken through glass Gregg. Super clear capture.

These boys can have a lot of human expressions but they are not human and never will be. God has established a division that will not be broken. Great shot.

I had this in the voting booth and found myself staring at it for the longest time. It has drawing power...even though you can't see the eyes, which is what you would normally look for.

I'm glad you posted it, and I'd give a few pennies for his thoughts!

It is a wonderful, thoughtful picture Gregg and these animals do share over 97% of our DNA so they do make us think.( I don't wish to be picky, but is this not a chimpanzee?) It is a great picture Gregg.

He is in deep concentration. A great shot. I dont think the glass hindered your shot.

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

For saying this was shot through the glass, it is a very good capture. I always wonder what the animals are thinking when we are all looking in at them in their enclosures! He looks very deep in thought in this one!
