I think this is a chipping sparrow. Have not seen many with the yellow streak on the top of the head, Correction, this is a White-Throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis). The chipping sparrow does not have those yellow marks. Thank you JoAnn.

This is such a good shot that it was easy to compare it with the illustrations in my bird book. I believe what you have here is a White-Throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis). The chipping sparrow does not have those yellow "eyebrows".
I agree with Tick that your studio set-up is excellent.

If you have a garden please feed the birds this winter, & supply drinking water not ice, it's so important. . . . Please help dwindling bird numbers survive.

Love the set-up here Gregg. Very festive and eye-catching. your capture of one of the rarer feathered friends is intriguing to me. I like the way Mr. Bird landed right between the red berries and the evergreen. Good DOF as well. To my favorites this goes and many thanks for sharing this with me :-)
