This incredible bird resides at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. He/She appeared so perfect in every way, it almost seemed as if the poor thing was stuffed (but trust me, he's not!). He became a bit aggitated after a bit, and spread his wings and stuck out his chest. Very intimidating, I assure you. Please feel free to comment on this shot.

The only birds that can be kept by places like Busch Gardens are ones that (a) appear perfect but (b) aren't, so be assured, this one is not releasable! But he certainly looks wonderful, and you were able to get a close shot of him, without the funny look a telephoto lens too often gives. What an expression! Kudos.

He's a true American beauty. Very majestic and proud appearing. No one would want to tangle with that beak! Excellent composing and clarity. He's wonderful against the blurred green background. He could pop out of this screen, he looks so close. Eric, you deserve many pats on the back for this fine image :^>

This is awesome. I came across a bald eagle nest near where I live and I became obsessed with trying to get a good shot of them. I wish this was my picture. Your right, he all most looks stuffed. It's because he looks so perfect. =) You can tell by looking at him that he is real though. Very pretty picture.
