There has been snowing for two days now. Well known places are not familiar anymore. They look like enchanted under the thick white snowcover.

This is absolutely gorgeous... To me, winter is the most majestic season on Earth and its mystery has been masterfully captured by Ewa in "enchanted place." I love how the trees in the distance fade into mist; the image echos the hollow silence of a place untouched by humankind. The border is a nice touch.

I really like how you combined and placed the more delicate branches within the framing and composition of this image.

Another dimension of contrast, that is a little more subtle, but, in my mind makes this quite nice and separate from other wintry scenes. Your compostional skills have gone exponential. Nice work.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.

I know it is not winter...but this is a wonderful photo! I will use it a lot as a desktop when the snow starts flying again...I notice you have several pictures in your gallery that are similar to this...all good...I love your remarks about this one..."well known places are not familiar anymore"...very poetic...thank you...Bill.

I'm setting here and it is so hot I really enjoy looking at this fine Winter shot. I feel cooler by the minute. Very nice natural framework as well. Great scene.
