The historical Niedzica Castle dated back to 13th-14th century, lies on the hill. Underneath the castle was a prison, where allegedly Janosik a legendary Robin Hood-like character who lived around 1688-1713 was held captive. In the distance the ruins of the 14th century castle in Czorsztyn, that sit on the limestone rocks. This time I hope the sky will not be that disturbing and perhaps you will pay the visit as gladly as before...

This is just fantastic and you are to be congratulatede again. As yopu know, I have done another piece using this same picture. I am know I can't improve, but I hope to maybe put a different slant on it. Thanks again for sharing and for giving me the chance to have a go at it. By the way, The Kings return part 2 is now ready and I will be posting that one i think instead of the origonal first offering, even though i have already had comments on it.

Ewa - I think this might be your best shot. Excellent composition and balance. The foreground water leads the eye into the shot perfectly. The shot appears to need a little rotation counter clockwise. The far shoreline is a bit out of parallel but only someone like moi would notice this minor flaw in a wonderful shot. (I was a photo analyst in the Military). This is one of my favorites - R

I love the timelessness of this visual offering of yours.

There are no extraneous remnants of modern culture ... just this beautiful structure and setting. (Ok, apart from the yellow buoy/water markers? Can be easily cloned out.)

This image easily transports ones' mind to a different time, a different place. And in doing so, you have achieved one of the hallmarks of an artist ... drawing your viewer in and stimulating their imaginations. Wonderful work.

Caveats? Hmm ... some ... some noise, but nothing so much as to detract from a fine photo.

I can't believe I missed this one all this time. It's a great addition to your gallery of great images Ewa.

And but of course ... thank you for sharing. :o)
