Rafting down the Dunajec river between steep rocks a few hundred metres high is one of the biggest attractions of Pieniny National Park. During this time you can admire picturesque and unforgettable sights of the Pieniny mountains. Dunajec river, which flows in a ravine among rocks, turns suddenly a few times providing with an additional thrill.

What a beautiful "get away from it all" place, Ewa. Your photo is excellent in all technical areas and it's a very lovely desktop image as well. Thanks for taking me rafting! - Patty

Those are really interesting rock formations and the river scene is interesting. It must be a pleasant day to spend on this river.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

The only thing missing in this image.. is me !! man i would loved to have a rafting trip, specialy in such surroundings, as is given here.
The last and only time i was on a raft, was when i was 9 years old, somewhere in France. I will keep it in mind for my next holliday.

I just talked to my friend, Terry, who was in Poland in August. I was looking at Caedes shots on the computer at work, and I told her about your invitation to Poland. She asked where you were from and I looked up your profile. When she saw the picture of the Dunajec River, she said, "I was there"! Part of her tour package was a rafting trip on the Dunajec River! She and her husband, daughter and son got to use the pole to steer the raft. Small world isn't it?
