sitting on a catus? flower and that bee is busy in the background as well. For all the things that are going on in here, this turned out to be a very serene and lovely upload and gives me hope for the spring :)PJ

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Stunningly beautiful Ewa! I am so impressed with this photograph. You really have caught a dynamic and exciting wildlife shot. Good work and deserving of it's high C-index (though should be higher!). Well done.
This is such a beauty of a image... Great photo Ewa, just great how you captured the butterfly, and there is also a wasp in the background. You' ve got another winner here !
Just saw this in the VB. '10' from me. I've had no luck with butterflies or bees and you've got both. Even the background is interesting. Wonderful clarity and composition. Thanks for sharing.
What a capture Ewa. This has me also hoping for an early Spring so I can enjoy sights such as this personally. But for now, I'll just have to enjoy yours LOL. Excellent post.

Terrific. Nice accurate focus .. very sharp butterfly. The only thing I could say to do to improve (IMHO) would be to stop the lens down a bit more to get the cactus flower sharp as well.

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
LOL! When I first saw this one I thought it was one of mine that had uploaded itself;o) I have some nearly identical shots I took of a male Brown Hairstreak in late August. I don't know how common they are in Poland but they are quite rare in UK and even when you know where they are they aren't easy to find so you did well to get this *bows*. Lovely clear shot with the background just detailed enough to set the scene without being distracting. Nice capture with some fine detail.
Cheers,
Steve.

I love the simplicity of this shot with the one main flower and butterfly. Nature can be so beautiful and more isn’t always better. Thanks for sharing.
