You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Eee tam, taka sobie górka !!! LOL
Splendid is the right word, seriously.
Very dramatic composition, yet with the final peaceful and almost serene effect.

This is a beauty Ewa, but I notice you took it from a chair-lift....I thought maybe, one from the top, while your climbing?......Looks cold and dangerous up there!.....nice one though!
Ah, yes beautifull, i have been here to, when i was 5 or so, and i can remember still.
But that was in summer, i have never seen the region covered in snow like on this photo, thanks for sharing it here Ewa.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Excellent work...this is a stunner and I was fortunate enough to give it a 10 in the voting booth this morning. It deserves that and more for the clarity and the breathtaking beauty you've captured. Congrats on this one :)
The Dolomites are so rugged and you've captured that quality perfectly in this post Ewa. I have to say I prefer the spring though - when al the alpine flowers are out;o)
Faved and saved!
Cheers,
Steve.

I saw this one years ago but for some reason never commented on it. I like how the light snow fog creates enough haze to make it clear just how far away and massive this geologic feature. Plus the snow outlines the stratigraphic layers perfectly, showing the lift and bend that changed this feature from a seabed to a mountain. Your angle, color capture, and placement of the feature is well done, deserving to be in the 80s.
