The first photo from a series: picturesque Łomnica cascades - a few meters below the dam that was built on the river, Karpacz, Poland. Thanks to all who view and comment.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Awesome shot of my favorite subject..waterfalls, and you've definitely captured it perfectly. The flow of the water is right on and the composition is great. Great framing with the trees as well...very well done!!
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...i am busy working a couple of jobs and enjoying the last summer with my friends
this looks like a peaceful place - and I agree with the soothing sound of running water. I always love it... And the atmosphere you've caught is great!
Had my eye on this image of yours for a while. :o)
First and foremost ... this is a lovely setting. Very much so. Many of the elements I truly love about the great outdoors are present in your capture ... gently flowing water, the trees of course ... contrasting textures of foliage, rocks and so forth.
And ... a naturally carved landscape. :o)
Now then, bear what I am about to say that it is coming from a novice, just some thoughts if you will ...
Exposure time(s). Not sure if you have come across this function of your camera, although I don't know why not ... however, for your perusal ... auto-bracketing.
And this may be the result of the power of suggestion at work, given Pierre's comments above me ...
Really, really close to nailing this one. Not much wrong to my eyes ... however, I can see what Pierre means to an extent.
The blur quality of the water that you did succeed in capturing here? ... I might have been tempted to make that aspect more of a focal point as opposed to an additional element as it is in your composition. At least in my very humble opinion.
Curious ... if it would have been possible for you to have gotten down into the area below the small falls ... lower right hand side, this perspective of your shot and shoot lower for one, closer to the falls for two ... and frame the falls more centrally. Effectively eliminating some of the surrounding scenery though, I suppose.
Make sense to you?
This may necessitate actually getting into the water by the looks of things from here ... almost or near the apex of the curve of the lower falls and then shifting the camera position to the left and up towards the upper falls. Or whichever would make for a more pleasing composition via your minds' eye and the cameras' view finder.

Uhm ... you stimulated my thoughts, and that is a good good thing Ewa. Sorry for being verbose here.
Your image here commands a certain amount of respect, hence my dissertation here. Plus ... I need some sleep, lol.
Alllll of that aside ... there is certainly more that I truly enjoy about your photo than you might be lead to think otherwise.
Know that. :o)
Lol ... just took a moment to drink this one in again ... now ... I am undecided and will stop here.
One last suggestion? If this is readily available to you ... not really a suggestion ... a request more so ... would love to see this dressed in fall colours. :o))
Till then ... this will do nicely, of course.
Thanks for your efforts Ewa ... it is indeed a lovely scene.
