It has been a long time Ewa and I hope we see some more of your wonderful images. I enjoyed your work so much when I first discovered Caedes :) Your 'Colour Me Softly" still graces my desktop from time to time.

This capture of the pelican gang preening is a delight. They appear quite unaware of your presence.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Handled the technical challenges (lighting, exposure) very well, Ewa.

And rewarded your viewers with a very nice shot with some wonderful ambient lighting for your photographic subjects.

Focus and clarity are good good, too.

Have a suggestion for you..

(Or.. perhaps, a reading assignment of sorts. :oP)

Tony Kuyper Photography - Tutorials.

In particular, the "Luminosity Masks" and "The Magic Mid-tones" tutorials. Wonderful editing techniques to arm yourself with, in my humble opinion.

Very nice shot.

The overriding descriptor that comes to the forefront of my mind is that of 'natural'.

And that is indeed a good good thing. :o)
