I was tired of taking seagulls shots but when I saw them, couldn't resist to take a few more shots. This is the most successful one. As my 99.9% of images, no edit, no crop. Only a tiny sharpness in Gimp.
300mm, f5.6, 1/1250, ISO 200, Nikon D3000, Tamron 70-300, handheld

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Really nice capture Tanju. The clear and stillness of the water is what, for me really makes the shot. Almost like the gull is "dancing on the water. Great shot man!!

Wow! A fraction of a second too soon or late and you wouldn't have this one. At least not one this good. Marvelous capture, Tanju. It pays to shoot and keep shooting until you get what you really want. It's a good thing these digital cameras allow us that freedom. I like how the reflection of the bird's head is perfectly mirrored directly under his actual head, but both reflections are also reflected again, clearly, in the first small wavelet below. This is one of those cases where all the elements and conditions have to be perfect in order to get the shot. And they were.

A beautiful photo. No requirements is unusual; but the finished product is amazing. Your photos are truly beautiful in DOF, composition, color and downright beauty. Outstanding photos whether flowers or buildings. You should have a book of them for the tourist bureau.
