Taken last year. I had kept this for future use. I think this is a good one to simplicity contest.
300mm, f5.6, 1/1000, ISO 200, Auto Mode, Nikon D3000, Tamron 70-300, Handheld, no crop.

I agree... an excellent entry. The bokeh puts all the emphasis on the gull and the face is tack-sharp, allowing the slight blur of the wings to express motion. Best of luck, Tanju.

A lovely looking photo, Tanju. Good sharp details in the gull and lovely colours in the water. It could use some noise reduction to smooth out the noise in the background. Best of luck in the contest.
