For Lyn's B&W Wednesday posts. I seldom took b&w, but this was almost in b&w only some hints of colors and conversion didn't make much change.

300mm, f6.3, 1/2500, -1EV, P Mode, Nikon D3000, Tamron 70-300, Handheld.

The shimmer looks good in B/W Tanju. A good entry for the contest.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Fine Post Tanju. However I would have Flipped it Horizontally to put the SailBoat on the right giving the image more Eye Appeal. Like your use of ....SHIMMER!

It almost seems like the city on the hill is mythical because it is barely visible. Reminds me of Odysseus. Nicely done.

The shimmering water has a hypnotic effect Tanju and I find it quite a delight to look at. Another fine image

In B&W it shaw brings out the light over the water and adds a lovely silver moon light to this shot.
