i love this picture and am glad you guys like it too. it holds such a sense of mystery, and that is all caused by the light used. funny how little things can make such an impact. thank you all!

Your choice of lighting here makes this image good on so many levels. Sure it triggers mystery as if it's in the corner of an attic, but, it also enhances the age of the banding and the pock marks and scratches in the old wood.
