I stumbled among an old photoshoot from about 15 years ago. Maybe even 20 years in history. The picture is an analog photo, shot on black and white film on a 10" x 8" camera and yeah… the model is hanging upside-down. About 18 feet above the floor she did a free fall starting from the position as shown on the insert picture. Although the shoes were very tightened to the ceiling (we took a lot of precautions so there was no risk at all) I still think it was a brave thing to do for the girl. Because it was not taken digitally there is no retouch or any other manipulation. After so many years, and almost forgotten, I still like this picture.

If you wouldn't have explained, I would have thought that the girl was on the ground, and you flipped the photo to make it look like she was on the ceiling. This is really nice the way you have presented the images. It makes it look like she is doing some sort of acrobatic performance. Thanks for sharing this one Evert.

When I got this photo in the VB I knew right away you are the ONLY one that would be able to take a photo like this Evert! What a brave girl yes, and what a wonderful photographer you are. It is a perfect photo, and I was so glad to hear how safe
she really was. I wonder how you fastened her shoes so she would be safe and there was no chance of them coming loose. The shadow on her leg is wonderful and the small insert too.
Such art this is! Congratulations my friend, and I'm so very happy you found this photo and posted it here for us.I hope you are doing well. I'm glad to know you are here. Verena

Agree with Jimbob. Without narrarive I would have thought as well that you turned this image 180 degrees.
To me HQ ART (written in capitals). Like to say too that I have admiration for the model's courage.
Still an amazing and great photograph, Evert!

I couldn't help but notice the same thing that Verena did about how the shadow lies on her legs. It's very complimentary. Fantastic, daring shot. Brave girl indeed!
