beautiful lighting, i like the highlights on the flute itself and i love the old look of the music book too, very atmospheric.

Three of my family members would love this picture. My Mother, my older brother, and my sister all played the flute in the high school marching band and also orchestra. My sister still teaches it. The composition is a delight to see, and I love the lighting on the flute. Thanks for sharing this wonderful work of yours, Evert.

Can still remember this Verkerke poster Evert.
The Verkerke posters were without any exception photographic masterworks. They had however a major disadvantage: the photographer was most of the time anonymous. Therefore it's great that you've joined Caedes as it resolved on the one hand the puzzle to me and, on the other hand, it gave me the opportunity to meet the man behind it. It's an honor to me that I've met you on this site and became my friend.

The old books, the wooden underground and a 'lil touch of flowers are making the atmosphere.
The book and the flute are given me the idea that the musician is taking a break of his study and will be back in a moment.
The lighting is soft and yet where it's needed namely on the main subject..the flute and the book.
Really enjoying this picture :o)

Hello my friend! How beautiful this is! I am always attracted to old books(I have many old old poetry books I've collected) and music. SO this is perfect for me to see on my desktop. The colour you chose is magical and of course the flute is very special. You have so much creative talent!!

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly, like a millionaire intent on going broke
