Back to the analog era. Old shoebox material. This picture was made to explain a new assistant how to create partial soft focus highlights by multiple exposures on one sheet of film. In this case Kodak Ektachrome 5"x4". So this picture was the result of a one-man-private lesson. Sinar P2, Broncolor flash (and of course) many separated exposures on one sheet of film.

That all sounds very complicated to me. The outcome is gorgeous, though. I love the lighting and the colors, as well as the soft focus. Very nice, Evert.

Hello Evert. What a beautiful work of art this is. The pattern of the Heliconia is just wonderful. With that red colour, wow.
I know the Bird of Paradise plant is a Heliconia too. And that the Hummingbirds love those plants. They are so nice, and you used the bottom of the plant for this creation. How lovely it is. The way the light it is on parts of the stem is just perfect also. Bravo on a gorgeous photo. Verena
