Pretty nice shot! I like that chariot on the top. As far as the photographer goes, sometimes you just have to say 'it is what it is!' He doesn't bother me a bit.
You can eliminate people from shots like this using a long exposure. Put your camera on a tripod and set the shutter speed to something like 30s. You'll have to play around with the aperture/ISO to get the right exposure, but in theory, the moving people should blur out and become invisible. I'm guessing that's what the guy in front of you is doing. Alternatively, you could have stepped in front of him and taken the photo. :)
Its always the same: If you are going to photograph a tourist attraction anywhere in the world, there will be some people who regardlessly walk along in front of your camera. You can subsequently eliminate them by using one of the photoshop tools. Your photo is excellent!
I think this is kind of a cool capture, a tourist taking pics of a tourist attraction, and the fella taking a pic. of the same thing works in this one. Maybe next time step back a little to get the whole light post in your shot.
whats a tourist attaction without people? gotta have some people in there to set the mood. i dont think your going to get a long exposure time in the middle of the day without total washout to the pic to elimate people in motion...maybe at night if they move fast enough, scream bomb maybe would do it..lol just kidding :)
i like this about the pic... a person taking a picture of a person taking a picture in the shot...kind of cool!
