This outstanding. Although he is the same color as the leaf, he stands out sharply, and you have controlled the depth of field to blur the background completely. I like that you have left the empty space ahead of him. We can imagine he will jump there next when he takes off from the leaf. On my desktop now.

Hmmm, I don't think this is a locust, at least not the kind we had droves of in the South...this is a grasshopper, right? There is a definite difference. But the photo is very good. Verena

Great presentation and an excellent shot.

I like this one a lot.

It's simplicity appeals to me and I think it belies the technical considerations and execution that must have come into play.

Add in the most creative take (excuse the pun here) that you put on this image ... really well done.
