14 years ago, a bushfire came through this area leaving only blackened tree trunks behind. Today it is a pleasant walk along the banks of Berrara Creek, just a 10 minute drive from my home.

I went on R&R to Sydney in 1970, Beautiful city, but did not have a chance to visit the Outback. Would love to return one day.
