I was intrigued by the collection of pots and ornaments in the garden of this house in Bothwell Tasmania. I chose black and white to emphasize the cracked pavement and the brooding presence of the old tree.
Theres a lot of great character in this photo, and your black and white presentation makes it so much stronger. The camera position draws me right up that drive and into that natural gazebo back there. Color would have been fine but this really talks to me and tells me even more about the owner.

Using monotones is a proper choice for this one, Frank. I'm with 'Nik' that you've created more 'character' in your image when using a colored version. Very well done!
