Central Tilba is a perfectly restored and maintained period village protected by a National Heritage order. It offers a range of shops galleries and cafes to explore and enjoy.
Well, the name of an area south of here, Tilba Tilba, means "many waters" (in the Thawa Aboriginal language), I'm guessing Tilba means... "Water"? For those of you who might be wondering, Tilba is a place close to the southeast coast of Australia, in New South Wales, about 85 miles southeast of Canberra (pron. Can-burr-ah). This looks like a delightful place to live, Frank, with small businesses in close proximity to residential areas... sort of a built-in customer base for the Tilba Teapot, and with a subtropical climate, there's little worry about heavy snow and ice. I think my wife wants to emigrate there. ;o)
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
A colorful village with lush green, Frank. Would be a pleasure to stop here to enjoy the sight, to do some shopping, and to drink a cup of coffee or something else.

This looks like many of the towns in NSW I have seen from friends over there. I hear the "roo" problem is particularly a problem around that part of Australia.
There is so much going on here! Beautiful colours and the Tilba Teapot Cafe looks very inviting. Plus of course it has a large dose of nostalgia. It does not seem that long ago this was the norm
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
