If I may be bold ... your image here, compared to it's sister photo of the other day ... is an improved version.
To my eyes, the challenging lighting conditions that you faced with this setting and camera position is handled better, technically speaking.
More detail is apparent in the shadows, as well, the colour balance is improved too.
In short, much more natural looking and quite pleasant to view. :o)
There is some digital noise present in the sky at the higher resolution sizes. Nothing major, mind you.
With that said ... perhaps, you might wish to take a look at this software, namely; "Neat Image" ... if you don't have any other noise reduction software.
There is a 'freeware' version and you can compare the differences between that of the paid version ... here, summarized in a chart or 'feature map' on their website.
And, last but not least ... thank you for sharing one of your favourite places with us. Rather evident as to the 'why' it is a fav of yours ... beautiful location indeed. :o)
Hi Renee, love this shot, faved it. Tough shooting into the sun with strong shadows making up so much of the image but you got it pretty near perfect.
Mikel.
