Nicely done. Looks really good as a desktop (1024x768). Like the shadows and the depth effect it creates.

This is a rather nice image. The water is interesting and the texture of the island is intriguing. There seems to be something a little odd about the light which seems to be coming from multiple directions, but I'm not good at mapping such things in my mind and it may be part of the surreal effect you're trying to achieve. (Who is to say which direction or directions light in your mind comes from?) I would personally prefer it without the black borders, though the top would be lost on a Mac anyway. But that is just me - I know other people really like borders around their desktop pictures.

Looks good! I like the colours and the composition. There seems to be happening something dramatic in the water, flooding of the isthmus perhaps. Makes a good desktop.

Lovely creation! I like the detail, but my own personal preference would be for the lush greens of the land to be a bit more prominant. Terrific job!
