The view from the top of Mam Tor (mother hill) in Derbyshire, UK. It's a wonderful place to be on a sunny day. The paragliders sometimes come so close you can have a conversation with them.

First I want to say welcome to caedes. You will like it here and the people are so interesting and very helpful. This is a gorgeous photo! The scene is just awesome but most of all you did a fantastic job with the colours and the shadows and that paraglider is wonderful! Good start. The photo gives the feeling of vast open spaces. I guess it is alo due to the fuzziness, which makes us feel we are among the clouds. But I like the patches of green down beneath and the violet paraglider.
