.....tonight I am back in the UK again (not that I ever left lol!) ....and I have two photographs of country cottages not too far from here - if you look to the far left of this photograph you will see an airplane taking off from Manchester Airport. I would love to live in this little cottage - it has such a lot of charm and an historical feel to it. :)

What a lovely looking scene Patti. I really like the shadows and the perfectly blue sky. It's well centered and has great color. You've done well. Thanks for sharing this. Anita

Real cozy looking cottage Patti! It looks like it has quite a few rooms in it. I wonder if the front was the original & it was added onto, or if it was originally built like this? Good looking yard too; nice landscaping! Very good shot Patti!!

Patti:

Both this shot and the "cottage and Chapel" are very good. As Dan said, nice landscaping, but I would hate to be the one taking care of it. ;o)

(How many airplanes go over head and what about the noise?)

the planes are going off every few minutes Steve, but not directly overhead here - you can see the distance from the little cottage. Remember the photograph from my back garden, well I am much closer to the flight path and it is amazing how you cut out the noise and still after living here for 30 years, I run out into the garden when I hear a large aircraft going over - I love to see them and to photograph them. :)

...and I would love to take care of that garden - I love pottering about in the garden - oh excuse me plane going over! :) wow that was a big one! lol!

Nice shot. Just move in...the worst that can happen is that you would get kicked out.

I don't think that cottage is all that "little". Look at all that living space in the rear. Good capture, Patti.

I love this cottage, it's got tons of charm! And, it looks like a fair sized piece of land it sits on. Very good composition and I like you left the plane tucked in at left.

Gosh, I sure wouldn't mind living there either! It is just so beautiful and I do love those blue hydrangeas down front. You have an eye for beautiful architecture. Very lovely photo and charming as Eileen says.
