...and the last view before I leave my favourite hill - this time looking North over Edale and Edale Valley. Now next time I visit I will have to climb one of the other hills as you have now seen all the views from Mam Tor (Mother Hill), that is unless the paragliders are there, then I will be back on the summit again! lol! :) Patti

I posted a photograph of a Paraglider taken from Mam Tor on my last visit there Gerry, but this was taken with my Nikon Coolpix digicam, so not so clear .. pretty amazing seeing them so close to the hill and this paraglider even got close enough for me to have a conversation with him! :) Patti

this looks like a shot more from Lord's Seat? rather than the Mam?
I know Mam from the air very well (as you can see from my homepage I'm a paraglider) some spectacular skies in around those vales

lovely BIG COUNTRY shot
really get a feel for the size of the valley + the height of the cloudbase

This is lovely Patti. I like the way the colors change when the clouds hit and make shadows. Your composition and clarity and truly terrific and this is a wonderful post. So glad you shared it.

A bevy of beauties....now that is well said. I think this is your best one. I can look long and hard INTO this one rather than AT it. It is beautiful. What a sight. Great closure to your series.
